    Agatho Parfum

Launched in 2019, Agatho Parfum has been able to establish a loyal customer base in no time because of their excellent, high-quality fragrances. Created by Maurizio Cerizza, their perfumes celebrate the rich history of fragrance creation. Maurizio continues to be one of the most beloved noses in Italian perfumery. As per his philosophy, it is important for any perfumery to draw mental associations between essential oils and the images evoked by their aroma. Allowing one's personal relationships to shape their interpretation is the key to rendering a perfume unique.

The brand is named after Agatho, a master perfumer who was renowned for creating precious ointments for the Roman aristocracy in ancient Pompeii. Termed an "olfactory project," Agatho Parfum aims to celebrate history by bringing forth the glory of these ointments once again. Harnessing the power of rediscovering traditional perfume-making ingredients, the brand has created unforgettable fragrances that simultaneously benefit from the techniques of modern perfumery.

Agatho Parfum is highly particular when it comes to manufacturing their perfumes. They focus on using natural materials of the highest quality to ensure that their perfumes uphold the gold standard of purity. All their olfactory creations are carefully sealed in luxurious porcelain bottles that are handmade from scratch. Not only is this a reference to the rich history of perfume bottles, but it also helps the perfume stay fresh and fragrant. The manufacturing techniques used by the brand have been handed down since 1740, and they continue to guarantee excellent quality. The Real Fabbrica di Capodimonte, the brainchild of the philanthropic king Charles III of Bourbon, was responsible for passing down these techniques as he was the one who led the excavations of Pompeii.

    According to the brand website,

"The exclusivity of AGATHO PARFUM celebrates elegance, culture, luxury and expresses demanding and refined personality."

The six fragrances launched by the brand so far include:

CASTIAMANTI, GIARDINODIERCOLE, ROSSOPOMPEIANO, 195 A.C., ADONE, and FAUNO.
